Denis is a DevOps Architect and Software Engineer based in Lomé, Togo. He builds and operates bare-metal Kubernetes clusters for sovereign digital infrastructure, working daily with Ansible, Kubespray, and the full cloud-native stack without a managed control plane in sight. At the application layer, he designs fine-grained authorization models with OpenFGA for multi-tenant platforms under data residency mandates. He organizes the Cloud Native Community Group in Lomé, teaches distributed systems and machine learning at local universities, and is the author of a book on Machine Learning. Currently exploring research in distributed systems architecture, Denis is an open-source contributor who believes Africa should build its own cloud-native expertise not just consume someone else’s.
