Derek Hone is the founder and CEO of Remnant Fieldworks Inc., a governance infrastructure company developing Verification Before Execution controls for AI agents, automated workflows, financial systems, and other high-consequence environments. He is the creator of the Proof Before Power doctrine, the Verification Before Execution framework, and the emerging RF-100 standard. Derek is also the author of 9 published books and more than 75 articles on AI governance, execution assurance, and proof-first authorization. His recent work includes a public series of preregistered hardware experiments testing authorization boundaries, stale authority, quorum control, tamper detection, changed state, and fail-closed execution.
