Devansh Pandey is a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology at The University of Texas at Austin, working in the lab of Dr. Vagheesh Narasimhan. His research combines large-scale medical imaging, statistical genetics, and machine learning to understand and predict cardiovascular disease. His current work develops a multimodal AI framework for precision preventive cardiology that integrates deep-learning representations of multi-organ MRI with polygenic risk scores to predict coronary artery disease in the UK Biobank. His broader work spans genome-wide association studies, Mendelian randomization, and deep learning on cardiac imaging, with the goal of translating population-scale biobank data into individualized tools for preventive cardiology.
