• Originally from Panama city, Panama, residing in the US for the last 30 years.
• Diana has over 30 years in the technology career, which has provided a proven hands-on experience from developer to Database Admin, Azure Data Engineer and now Cloud Solutions Architect.
• Diana has worked in many areas such as OS platforms, development languages and databases, among them Unix, Oracle, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Cloud, just to mention a few.
• Diana has been an active member of the professional Data community in South Florida for about 15 years. She has led the group as an organizer of the local SQL Server User Group chapter as well as the South Florida SQL Saturday conference where she developed a passion about helping, educating, and evangelizing her peers about the Microsoft Data and Business Intelligence platforms.
• She extended this effort through the creation of the first MS Certification Study groups in South FL., where she coached many of her peers to pass the Microsoft certification exams.
• Diana has been invited to participate as a speaker in conference such as the South FL Code Camp, Women In Tech. panels, Women in Data Science, SUPX, and in SQL Saturdays in the USA and Latin America.
• Strong advocate for Disability & Inclusion and Women in Technology. Diana innovated by creating the first Women in Technology panel in the SQL Saturday conference in Florida.
• Diana’s goal is to strive to be human enough to lead by example, flexible enough to know that mastery is only achieved by learning from one another, and to be an inspiration to her kids and other minorities.
