Martin is the CEO of Nebulit GmbH, headquartered in southern Germany. With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, including more than a decade as a freelance professional, he has taken on diverse roles such as Architect, Coach, Trainer, and Consultant. Despite these varied roles, one challenge remained consistent: software projects were always complex and demanding.

Over the years, Martin has seen countless trends come and go—from SOA and Agile to Microservices and AI. While each introduced change, none truly simplified the process of building software systems—until 2021, when everything shifted with Event Modeling.

Today, Martin is dedicated to helping companies adopt Event Modeling as a technique to streamline and improve software delivery. In 2024, he published *Understanding Event Sourcing*, the first book to unify Event Modeling, Event Sourcing, and Vertical Slice Architectures into a single, cohesive development process.
