Dr. Turner-Lloveras is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harbor-UCLA and also holds a faculty appointment at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He graduated from The University of Southern California with a B.A. In Interdisciplinary Studies and received his medical degree from The University of Chicago - Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center. Shortly thereafter, he completed his commitment as a National Health Service Corp Scholar in Los Angeles where he worked as a primary care physician and hospitalist in Watts and Skid Row.

Dr. Turner-Lloveras has published several original manuscripts in cardiovascular and general medicine journals. He has driven efforts at the community level to improve the patient experience and strengthen the innovation culture at FQHCs in the LA area through collaboration with healthcare startups. He is interested in leveraging accessible technology while addressing health disparities and the digital divide to build innovative co-designed solutions that improve the underserved patient's experience and the health of their surrounding community.
