Donald Bucher has over 15 years of experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner clinically focused on critical care and hospitalist medicine. During his career he has held multiple leadership positions in both hospital and non-profit areas. Currently, he is the Vice Chair of Advanced Practice for the Department of Medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center overseeing APPs in 10 divisions. AANP past Pennsylvania State Representative, PCNP past Treasurer and President Elect and holds the record for the shortest president term in PCNP history. In 2022, he was appointed to the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
