Dong Lin is a Staff Software Engineer at Alibaba working on Apache Flink ecosystem projects. He is the architect and primary maintainer of FeatHub and Flink ML. Dong is also a member of Apache Flink and Apache Kafka PMC.

Dong received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015, where his research revolve around scalable distributed systems. After his graduation, Dong worked at LinkedIn and Google, where he developed Apache Kafka and TensorFlow respectively.
