Donna Martonik graduated with a BSN in 1992 from John Hopkins University. Upon graduation she practiced in the ED and critical care units at several facilities including a level 2 trauma center in Eastern PA. She went on to become an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in 2003 completing a MSN degree at LaSalle University. She entered advanced clinical practice for the Department of Surgery and Trauma at Abington Memorial Hospital. She continued her career at St Luke's University Health Network in Critical Care in 2009. She received a DNP from the University of South Alabama in 2017 earning a post masters certificate as an AGACNP. In addition to her clinical practice, she is lead faculty in the AGACNP program at Cedar Crest College where she designed the AGACNP curriculum and has lectured in the areas of pathophysiology, pharmacology and AGACNP clinical practice. Lastly, she is called upon to lecture to medical residents, advanced practitioners and staff nurses during course offerings offered at St Luke's University Health Network.

This panel presentation aims to delve into the multifaceted application of artificial intelligence (AI) in acute care settings, exploring both the advancements achieved and the challenges encountered. The panel will consist of three experts: one clinician in critical care, one information technology specialist with experience in critical and acute care, and one AI specialist with experience in predictive analysis.
