Dr. Doreen N. Myrie is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Jackson State University. She also holds current teaching certificates in Special Education Mild-Moderate Disabilities K-12, and Elementary Education K-6. Before her current role as a Teacher Educator, she taught in K-12 inclusion and specialized settings for 18 years. Dr. Myrie is passionate about preparing teachers who are highly competent in their disciplines, culturally responsive, and committed to providing quality education to students from all backgrounds and abilities.
