Doug Davies has been a professional software developer for 33 years. He spent his childhood programming his own wire-wrapped Apple II and the PDP-11 his Dad built into a desk in the dining room. He’s worked for big companies like WordPerfect, CompuServe, and AOL. He currently works at OCLC writing mobile apps to help Librarians get their jobs done. His favorite moment is when he met Steve Jobs while working on the NeXTStep version of WordPerfect. He also runs his own mobile game company called Funky Visions. When he’s not twiddling bits, he loves to bicycle and hike. His goal is to hit every National Park in the U.S.
