Dr. Maha Alqallaf is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at Kuwait Technical College (KTech), where she teaches, conducts research, and leads student-centered cybersecurity initiatives. Her research interests include AI-driven forecasting for cybersecurity, application security, predictive threat intelligence, and the protection of critical infrastructure.

In addition to her academic role, Dr. Alqallaf is the Founder and Advisor of the KTech Cybersecurity Club, through which she mentors students, organizes awareness campaigns, and delivers hands-on training aligned with industry needs. She is also the lead organizer of CyberThon, a flagship cybersecurity hackathon and competition that brings together students, educators, and industry partners to address real-world cyber challenges through practical, skills-based learning.

Dr. Alqallaf is actively engaged in national and regional cybersecurity outreach, industry collaboration, and curriculum development. She is a frequent speaker at professional and academic events, where she addresses topics such as application security, AI risks, cybercrime, and the evolving intersection of cybersecurity and national security.
