Dr. Murali Munisamy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Translational Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has received his Ph.D. Degree in Pharmacogenomics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India and done his Postdoctoral Fellowship from Pharmacotherapeutics Unit, University of Putra, Malaysia and Centre for Pharmacogenomics and Precision Medicine, College of Pharmacy, University of Florida, USA and Translational Lab, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. His work focussed on the Pharmacogenomics and Precision medicine studies typically using genotyping and pharmacokinetics to understand the impact of genetic variation on drug metabolism. He leads several International and National funded projects on pharmacogenomics. He has Published > 32 Peer reviewed PubMed articles and delivered over 15 invited talks at various conferences and organized pharmacogenomics and precision medicine workshop. His Research Utilizes state of the art genomic measures on inter-patient variability in drug response and translation of pharmacogenomics into clinical practice.
