Growing up in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Amy Sprole has become a prominent figure in plastic surgery. She has dedicated nearly two decades to enhancing both aesthetic and reconstructive techniques. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Sprole is recognized for her pioneering contributions, particularly as one of the few female plastic surgeons in her region.

Dr. Sprole's medical journey began in New York City, where she received extensive training in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Returning to her roots, she joined the Plastic Surgery Center in Wichita in 2006, eventually becoming the owner and managing partner. In her practice, she focuses on aesthetic procedures for the face, body, and breasts, alongside reconstructive surgeries for breast and skin cancer patients.

She holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Her leadership roles include serving on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for the Medical Society of Sedgwick County from 2011 to 2015. Her professional excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including a spot on the '40 under 40' list by the Wichita Business Journal in 2010.

Beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Sprole is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine—Wichita and a Clinical Instructor at Kansas City University. She is deeply involved in training surgical residents and shares her expertise to mold future medical leaders.

Despite a demanding career, Dr. Sprole leads a fulfilling personal life with her four sons. She regularly attends their sporting events and actively participates in their various activities. A fitness enthusiast, she incorporates weightlifting into her daily routine, which she credits for her physical and mental well-being, especially after the birth of her fourth son.

Dr. Sprole is also committed to her community, participating in Project Access to provide care for uninsured patients and volunteering to enhance surgical education. Her accolades include the Dicran Goulian, M.D. Award for Academic Excellence in Plastic Surgery and the Distinguished Housestaff Award from the Division of Plastic Surgery. Additionally, she is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Celebrating over half a century of service, her practice marked its 55th anniversary as the longest-standing single-specialty group in Kansas.
