I’m an award-winning educator, scholar, and media professional with a passion for journalism and communication education. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, my work spans K–12 and higher education, where I’ve mentored emerging journalists and advisers, contributed to national organizations, developed innovative programs and courses, and created content for multiple large organizations. As a published author and frequent conference presenter, I’ve built a career advocating for journalism education and developing inclusive, future-ready environments, inside and outside the classroom.
