After his service, Dr. Brown led a significant reconstruction project at Central State University, rebuilding health facilities destroyed by a tornado. He later spearheaded the Family Medicine Residency at Wright State Medical School/Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, where he developed a practice that significantly impacted healthcare delivery for the region's marginalized populations.
Since retiring in 2018, Dr. Morris Brown, Ohio, has continued influencing systemic healthcare and criminal justice reforms through his leadership at Above the Law and Central Solutions LLC. He has been recognized with numerous awards for his service and continues to advocate for healthcare equity and social justice through his active role with the NAACP.
