Throughout his career, Dr. Gratzer regularly managed a caseload of 100 patients per week while conducting numerous forensic evaluations, balancing clinical care with specialized forensic expertise.

Dr. Thomas Gratzer's background also includes a notable interest in computer science. In 1991, he won first prize at the Manitoba Science Fair and co-authored a book on the TRS-80 computer. His technical work led to developing the VP-Info database programming language, which sold over 100,000 copies.

Now retired, Dr. Gratzer remains involved in supporting mental health initiatives. He enjoys hobbies such as tennis, skiing, and travel.
