Eden Gilbert Kiseka is a Kampala-based Android developer, electronics engineer, and product designer. He builds production mobile applications in Kotlin and Java, with a focus on payment systems, audio processing, and on-device AI.
He is the author of the Nylon Pay Kotlin & Java SDK — a zero-dependency payment SDK for Uganda's mobile money ecosystem (MTN MoMo & Airtel Money) — and has shipped Android apps spanning music production (Caustic DAW), streaming platforms (KaCinema), privacy tooling (terminalphone — encrypted voice over Tor, 120+ GitHub stars), and on-device LLM inference (local-lite using ExecuTorch + Qwen 3).
Beyond Android, Eden works in Rust systems programming (Flare DAW — a real-time audio workstation with lock-free DSP at 2.67ms latency), compiler design (Joist — a DSL that generates architectural blueprints), and embedded systems (Arduino, ESP32, STM32). He teaches embedded systems programming at Neriko Electronics and holds a diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from the Uganda Institute of ICT.
He is passionate about building technology that works for African markets — not as an afterthought, but as a primary design constraint.
