For the past five years, I have been an Engineering Director at XING. I care about creating the shared understanding that lets business, product and technology work as one system. When people can see how their work connects, high-performing teams can emerge and the organisation has a better chance of improving the outcomes that matter.

I have always loved software architecture, especially when it helps us make better decisions rather than becoming an end in itself. Domain-Driven Design has been a practical tool for me: a way to continuously evolve software architecture, team boundaries and organisational ownership as the business changes.

More recently, I have embraced the new wave of AI-enabled software development. I am exploring what AI-native teams and organisations could look like, with the same interest in shared context, clear responsibilities and safe ways of changing complex systems.

At heart, I am a pragmatic systems thinker with an entrepreneurial background who enjoys working through complex challenges.
