Emma Gilmour is an accessibility consultant and frontend developer originally from Co. Monaghan.

Following secondary school in Co. Antrim, she studied Media and Fine Art in Liverpool before running a photography business and art studio. Later, she retrained in construction and spent several years as a decorator and furniture maker.

In 2018, she retrained as a developer, working mainly in frontend development for companies like AO, where she became known as an accessibility subject matter expert and co-founded the Accessibility Guild.

After almost 20 years in Liverpool, she relocated to the Glens of Antrim and founded Pathfinder Accessibility, an accessibility consultancy and training business that helps organisations on their accessibility journey.
