Women in Tech: The Importance of Mentorship and Role Models?
Meanwhile, it is widely known that diversity and inclusion within tech teams can have positive impacts on both individuals and companies. And yet, the question often arises – how can we promote these important topics concretely?
To provide a practical approach here, my presentation will focus on the significance of mentorship and role models for women in tech. I will elaborate on various mentoring approaches and describe how a mentor can influence one’s career and professional development.
In addition to sharing established best practices, I will also discuss my own experiences with the topic of mentoring, addressing both challenges and moments of success.
The goal of my presentation is to offer the audience a perspective on the importance of mentoring, especially for women in the tech industry, and to encourage participants to engage themselves in mentoring environments.
