Einar Oftedal is known for leading teams to reach their maximum potential. He is a community builder by heart and loves to enable and grow talent across both public and private security groups.

Prior to Crosspoint Labs, Oftedal worked as a Vice President at Symantec, NortonLifeLock, and Blue Coat, building up engineering, research, and security teams across the world. Scaling up teams, fostering innovation, and leading emerging technological development are among his key competencies. He has been central in establishing and growing the cybersecurity capabilities at the National Security Authorities in Norway and was part of the team that built the Norwegian National CERT (NorCERT).

Oftedal has been involved in various mergers and acquisitions and sat on both sides of the table. He has been essential for connecting growth strategy, analyzing the options of organic and inorganic expansions.
