Einar Landre is an accomplished software professional with 40 years of experience from multiple sectors and domains. He has held roles as developer, architect, consultant and leader. His primary skill is as software and system architect working closely with business stakeholders.
Mr. Landre has practiced tactical and strategic Domain-Driven Design (DDD) techniques since before DDD had a name, and he contributed to the earliest papers on DDD back in 2006. These papers outlined strategic use of DDD in modernization of large-scale software systems in the oil and gas industry.
Since 2019 has Mr. Landre focus been the development of the OSDU Data Platform. The OSDU Data Platform is an upstream oil and gas industry open-source software and standardization initiative managed by The Open Group where he holds one of the elected seats on the forum’s management comity. The OSDU Data Platform is a industry wide initiative with more than 220 organizations.
Einar holds a master’s degree in information technology from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland.
