In her capacity as the Risk and Compliance Manager, Elizabeth Bemah Amankwah drives the overall Enterprise Risk Management of Omni Strategies by formulating and executing information security policies with her extensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations. Elizabeth leverages proficient business acumen, critical thinking skills, proactive problem-solving, and collaborative communication to identify, mitigate information security risks and give management the needed assurance that optimizes overall business objectives.

Elizabeth’s portfolio spans people management, strategic planning, project management, data privacy, change management, regulatory compliance, risk management and business continuity planning. Elizabeth has led teams and engaged executive management, stakeholders, as well as cross-functional teams to conduct IT and cybersecurity assessments and audits to test controls against policies, evaluate the effectiveness of such controls and recommend improvements to enhance business resilience.

Elizabeth is a Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, One Trust Privacy Professional and a PECB Certified Trainer. She is an industry professional member of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), a member of Innovation Women speaking network and a mentor of WiCyS West Africa Affiliate. She is passionate about mentoring that impacts the younger generation, empowering women to take up roles in cybersecurity and leaving an indelible mark in all spheres of her life.
