Elizabeth Balena brings nearly two decades of experience in education to her role as Principal of Rosedell Elementary School, recently recognized as a #1 school in California with the prestigious California Distinguished School Award. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has taught and worked with both children and adults in the classroom, at the school site, and within the district. She is deeply passionate about student success and is committed to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments where all students can thrive. Elizabeth brings her dedication to equity, excellence, and lifelong learning to the broader educational community. She is also a proud mother of three and brings the same love, care, and commitment to her own children as she does to every student she serves.
