Elliot builds iOS applications with a focus on IoT and modern architectures at VML. His prior experiences in product management inform his software engineering, which currently focuses on low-level wireless communication protocols and related mobile device APIs.

Before joining VML, he was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 for his work as an education technology entrepreneur. Elliot has spoken about applied machine learning at SxSWedu, was the winner of Teach for America's National Social Innovation Award, and has appeared on NPR and Wired. He earned degrees in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics from Loyola University New Orleans.
