At a moment when misinformation, anti-LGBTQ+ laws, and attacks on trans people are all on the rise, it is crucial for journalists to find and collect critically needed data and tell stories that cover the LGBTQ+ community fairly and accurately.
In this session, learn about how to work with key data (and work around limitations like undercounts of gender-nonconforming people) to create visualizations, find underreported stories, and power impactful investigations.
