Emmanuel Awujo, born on a cold Christmas day morning in southeastern Nigeria, hails from Mbieri in Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, where he worked extensively in isotope geochemistry relative to both stratigraphy and groundwater exploration.
