Matching Webapp deployment velocity in React Native

One of the biggest headaches for developing on mobile can be the tedious build process along with a lengthy App-Store review. Pains from managing provisioning profiles, versioning, and testing on multiple devices are all addressed with *Fastlane*. The dreaded wait during an App Store review is addressed by *CodePush*, which allows us to deliver Javascript bundles directly to clients instantly, bypassing any latency from the usual review process. We’ll talk about the aforementioned pain points and how Fastlane and CodePush can simplify and improve the React Native developer experience.

Web and Mobile shared UI component libraries, a pipe-dream or a reality?

Facebook launched React-Native with the motto learn once, write anywhere instead of write once, run anywhere. With that, you might be surprised to learn that Twitter and Uber both have implementations of React Native *web-apps* in production. Thanks to the open-source library titled react-native-web, shared component libraries amongst mobile and web teams are becoming more popular. In this talk, we’ll dive into how react-native-web works, how it can help your organization, alternative approaches to shared component libraries, and any gotchas you might encounter along the way.
