Eric Muriithi is a Software Developer, Educator, and Social Entrepreneur. He is the lead Web and App Developer at Muray Innovations, a software development and consulting enterprise that works with early-stage entrepreneurs and established organizations helping them to design and build software services and products, MVPs for Proof of concept and communication, and marketing materials.

Muray Innovations has since gone on to partner with 15+ founders and consultants from 5 different countries to build digital products that have assisted their brand in their customer acquisition campaigns, generating for them leads and in turn paid customers. Eric Muriithi has also Cofounded SHIELD (Social Hub for Innovation Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking) which is a pre-accelerator innovation hub that seeks to support over 10,000 young entrepreneurs within Kibera in the next 10 years by empowering them to develop and implement solutions that will solve problems experienced in informal settlements.

With a deep passion for community, Eric’s role in this capacity has been to build the web platform.

In addition to these ventures, Eric is a trained software engineer – A web developer as well as a dart with flutter developer - who is currently part of the 1,000,000 developers for Africa program run by Power Learn Project where we seek to train 1 million software engineers by 2027. Eric currently teaches a cohort of over 600 learners from 3 different African countries to build cross-platform mobile applications with Dart and Flutter in scheduled online meetings with a team of decorated engineers. I am a proficient programmer in dart with flutter programming, python, and web technologies as well as no SQL databases such as firebase and Mongo DB. In addition to this, I possess strong communication and negotiating skills that I have used practically while meeting with potential clients as well as in networking events.

Eric also partners with neighborhood football communities in a bid to raise funds for their operations which include sourcing soccer training equipment including balls, bibs, and cones. He does this because how playing soccer actively has contributed immensely to the person he is today and recently hit a milestone which is to raise capital funds as a start to support South C United, a team that is currently struggling to sustain itself and retain number of active players.
