The art of technical talks: Making live coding stress-free

Live coding can be one of the most engaging ways to teach, but also one of the most stressful. What if you could focus on your story, not on the fear of typos or broken demos?

In this session, I’ll share the lessons I’ve learned from years of presenting and how they led me to build Demo Time, a tool designed to make live demos predictable, repeatable, and stress-free.

We’ll walk through how to design a technical talk, balance storytelling with technical depth, and use tools and techniques that keep your audience focused on the "why," not the "oh no, it broke." Whether you’re a first-time speaker or a seasoned presenter, you’ll leave with practical tips — and maybe the confidence to do your next demo live.

From manual to intelligent: AI & automation for modern testing

Testing is evolving, and it is more important than ever. Join this interactive session to explore how AI and end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright are transforming quality assurance for Microsoft 365 applications. We'll walk through the testing journey, from traditional manual testing to intelligent automated testing powered by AI. Discover how to architect a testing strategy that adapts to changing requirements, automatically identifies regressions, and learns from previous test runs.

From idea to prompt to production-ready code? How AI-powered platforms can help you building apps.

A new wave of AI-powered platforms like Bolt, Lovable, Replit, and others promise to turn a simple prompt into a fully working application. But how well do they actually deliver? And more importantly, can you take what they generate and ship it to production?

In this session, I'll put one of these platforms to the test. Starting from nothing but a prompt, you'll see me build a real application live on stage and take it through the full journey from generated prototype to something production-ready. We'll look at code quality, architecture decisions, customization options, and deployment.

I'll also share what I've learned from working with these tools: when they work great, where they struggle, and how you as a developer can use them to move faster without losing control over what you're building. Whether you're looking at these platforms for rapid prototyping, client demos, or side projects, you'll leave with a good understanding of what's possible today.

Expect an audience driven live demo going from prompt to deployment, honest takes, and plenty of practical takeaways.

Enhancing web application quality with Playwright

In this session, we will explore how to use Playwright to automate end-to-end testing of web applications. We will focus on how Playwright can be used to create end-to-end tests that verify the behavior of various web applications, including authentication scenarios for platforms like Microsoft 365. We will start from scratch and build up the test scenarios together. You will learn more about the techniques and best practices for creating practical tests during the session. By the end, you will have a deeper understanding of how to use Playwright to improve the quality of your solutions.

Building smarter: Bringing AI into your developer workflow

AI isn’t just for chatbots. It’s changing how we build software. With so many AI tools available these days, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start. In this session, you’ll discover "a" way to integrate AI into your developer workflow, turning it into a true development partner for scaffolding new projects, generating documentation, writing tests, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

I’ll share real examples of how I’ve integrated AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Bolt, GitHub Spark, and more into everyday development tasks, saving time while keeping control over quality. You’ll learn what works, what doesn’t, and how to find the right balance between automation and craftsmanship.

Expect a mix of demos, practical tips, and insights that will help you start building smarter, not just faster, with AI at your side.
