Last year a CS:GO skin was sold for $150k, being a unique piece of art for the game. The problem is that its uniqueness is not really verifiable outside the game.
In my speech I want to discover how NFTs can disrupt virtually every industry by being the ultimate liquid proof of ownership. Covering much more that traditionally high-tech industries like gaming, NFTs can change the way we do all kinds of stuff – from buying real estate or events tickets or insurance to the way we provide employee benefits.
With a proper legal framework, the NFTs will be able to create a new phenomenon – trustless marketplace of everything, where you can buy and sell items without the need to spend lots of time validating authenticity.
