Eva Padilla has had an immense impact to the Colorado business community by providing access to capital and technical assistance to our entrepreneurs that need it the most. She has devoted 20 years of lending experience working in traditional banks such as JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America as well with CDFI's (community development financial institutions) like Colorado Enterprise Fund and Energize Colorado. This has brought a great advantage in helping entrepreneurs by bringing a diverse insight and knowledge when providing access to capital solutions.
She is passionate in helping underserved entrepreneurs such as Startup, BIPOC, and Women-owned businesses grow and develop by providing expert advice and consultation that helps promote sustainability.
She understands the many hurdles these communities have historically been disadvantaged which is why she helps provide guidance in how to navigate through business funding and help her clients be "Loan Ready". Shortly after her move to CO from TX, she was able to build and utilize her extensive network with strong community leaders and organizations like US Bank and the COS Hispanic Chamber to join her for the first All Spanish "Latino Start Up Day" event in Southern Colorado in Colorado Springs. She has also helped support and sponsor many similar BIPOC organizations and events to help meet their goals. She has helped secure funding, consulting, and technical assistance needed to many underserved businesses with her past capital access lending roles since her move to CO. She proudly sits on many impactful committees such as the Mayor's Community Development committee for the City of Colorado Springs, the Latina Equity Foundation, COS Hispanic Chamber Education Foundation, and volunteers her time as a business mentor for EforAll Colorado and the Latino Leadership Institution.
She is a bilingual lender who was originally born in Honduras, raised in Dallas, TX, and now lives in CO with her partner enjoying and hiking its beautiful landscapes.
As a Latina first gen and a single mother, she instilled the importance of hard work and education to her son who is now in college studying to be an architect in TX. She understands the resilience and survival instincts every Latino has to have rely on to make their American dreams come true and to be successful in the U.S, not just for our generation but for the next.
She has now started her own business, Founder Access, helps empower business communities especially to undeserved Startup and BIPOC entrepreneurs by providing financial tools such as growth strategies and customized workshops. Founder Access consults and provides business resources to entrepreneurs to help set up for success and help navigate funding for their next business ventures by matching entrepreneurs with the right lender based on their business needs.
