I am a software engineer, father, and wishful surfer.
I am currently an engineer at Confluent and I previously worked at Google/Looker. I am also pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science (nearly complete!) at the University of California Santa Cruz where I've leveraged Nix for my research.
I am a NixOS enthusiast, use it as my daily driver and my research and use of Nix has led me to rethink basic Linux primitives.
