Tech Lead and Software Architect with over 18 years of experience in Java and distributed systems, mostly in fintech and payments. For the last 5 years I've worked on international teams, modernizing systems, leading and applying AI engineering. I speak about career, AI and software development at tech conferences and communities, and I write at blog.fhgomes.com.

Besides working on the front line, I help developers who are growing their careers turn technical skill into strategic influence. My mission is to develop leaders who stop being "firefighters" and become decision partners respected by leadership, earning global recognition and quality of life.

Outside of code, I'm a motorcyclist, world traveler and One Piece fan.
