CTO at Vitio, where I lead the engineering of a healthcare telemonitoring platform built as a regulated medical device (MDR, IEC 62304, ISO 13485). I've spent over a decade designing and shipping distributed systems across very different industries, with deep hands-on experience in the Java ecosystem, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures (NATS, Kafka, Flink, TimescaleDB). Before Vitio, I was CTO at Kyso and Principal Engineer at Labster. Along the way I've taught more than 50 courses on these topics and I'm a regular speaker at Spain's top tech conferences, Codemotion, Commit Conf and T3chfest among them. These days I spend most of my energy at the intersection that fascinates me most: building fast, pragmatic engineering teams that ship serious software in regulated, life-critical environments.
