IMPORTANT: Please read 

Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your talk to flutterCon India 2026. We cannot guarantee that if you follow these suggestions, your talk will be accepted, but you will have a much better chance:

1. Please ensure that your talk title and description match and that the title accurately reflects your topic

We all love a cute and catchy talk title with a nice play on words, but the program committee (and attendees, for that matter) should be able to tell at a glance what topic your session will cover. We also ask that you be aware of our code of conduct when choosing your title. 

2. Define key takeaways and learning points

You will help the committee select your topic if you can explain what you hope audience members will learn. Please try to include three to five key points that make your talk stand out from others. (This is important because we often receive 4-5 submissions on the same topic.) The more concrete (and relevant) these learning points are to the audience/conference, the better.

3. What is your experience level with the topic?

You don’t have to be a level 12 Black Belt in Dart to get your talk accepted. The committee does, however, need to know what your experience level with the topics is. Is the app or technology you are working on being deployed at scale? Is it a hobby or a side project? What are your real-world experiences with the topic?

4. Have you given this talk before?

Original talks that have NOT been given before are preferred. However...if you have given the talk before, let us know if you have updated it or if there are significant changes or updates since last giving the talk. 

5. How We Evaluate Submissions


Once the Call for Speakers closes, our independent Program Committee begins the voting process. Because we host multiple events, each track has its own dedicated Program Committee. This means industry experts in your specific tech stack will review your pitch. They vote to select the most valuable topics for their community. 

6. Tell Us How You Want to Speak 

Keynote: For talks with the widest appeal, designed to kick off the day or close it out with impact. Keynotes set the tone for the entire conference. Due to limited slots, all Keynote submissions will automatically be considered for standard session slots as well. If you have an idea that speaks to the whole community, we want to hear it. 

Lightning Talk (20 min):
A fast, focused talk. One sharp idea, zero fluff. Perfect for a quick insight, a lesson learned, or a demo that doesn’t need a full session. 

Session (40 min):
The classic conference talk. Dive deep into a topic, share your experience, or walk through a technical concept that developers can take back to their work immediately. 

Workshop (80 min):
A hands-on, interactive session where attendees build or learn something by doing. You lead, they follow along. Come with a clear outcome and leave the audience with something they didn’t have before. 

Panel Discussion:
A moderated stage conversation between a selected group of experts in a full conference room. Submit your topic, and we will work with you to find the right co-panelists and a moderator from within the speaker lineup. 

Unconference-roundtable:
An intimate, circle-format discussion for 30 to 50 people where everyone participates, not just watches. No stage, no slides. If your topic sparks conversation more than a presentation, this is your format. 

Office Hours:
An informal 1-on-1 or small group session where attendees come to you with questions. No slides needed. Think of it as an open conversation at a table. You are the expert; they bring the problems. Usually planned if you put your booth. 

7. Tips to Make Your Submission Stand Out 

We receive hundreds of submissions. Here is how to make yours appealing to the Program Committee: 

Make your title do the work:
A clever title is great, but the committee and attendees should immediately understand what your talk is about. 

Accurate talk description: Ensure that your talk description accurately reflects your topic. We recommend including a clear learning outcome and explaining why your topic is important. Three to five concrete learning points make a huge difference, especially when we receive multiple submissions on the same topic (and we do, often). 

Show your real experience:
Use the Additional notes for the program committee field to tell us your actual experience with the tech. You do not need to be a world-leading expert to get accepted. Deploying at scale? Built a side project? Learning in public? Tell us. The program committee values authentic experience over impressive credentials.

Have you given this talk before?: In the same Additional notes field, tell us whether you have given this talk before. Let us know where and how it was received. More importantly, tell us what's new or different this time. A well-tested talk that has evolved is a strong submission. 

8. Video Release Policy

All sessions will be recorded and shared on the community platform at droidcon.com. Video links will be shareable.  Anyone can access the videos for free. By submitting your session over Sessionize, you are agreeing to have us record your session and publish it on the droidcon.com community platform. 

As a speaker, if you already bought a ticket, let us know and it will be refunded. Travel expenses will be reimbursed on a case by case basis - please let us know shortly after being confirmed as speaker, so that we have time to get everything ready.
