“The Intelligence Life Cycle and how Artificial Intelligence affects the Data profession”

Dr. Deming the father of the Japanese Quality Control said "In God we trust, all others must bring data." but what he really wanted to reach was Wisdom! Data is just the raw material the real goal is Wisdom I have been thinking about the chain toward Wisdom (Data-Information-Knowledge-Wisdom) and hypothesis that I called The Information Life Cycle or ILC.
The ILC is somehow related to the “Knowledge or Wisdom Pyramid” but in my opinion ILC allows a better and pragmatic approach toward Wisdom and of more use for our data profession.
In the present presentation I pretend to clarify some confusion on the etymology and semantic of Data, Information and Knowledge that mistakenly are used as synonymous. We are drowning in a sea of data and we are starving for wisdom.
I also pretend to explain how is Data Science and Big Data changing our profession? And what will be the impact of new technologies such as LLM and in particular ChatGPT will affect the Data Profession.
