Gary Dollinger works with private equity firms and strategic investors to assess and improve market readiness, scalability, and growth potential, with a focus on an organization’s technology. His unique blend of deep technology expertise and business process optimization experience has helped companies save millions of dollars through better utilization of resources, improved operations, cash flow management, and business intelligence.

Gary’s ability to mix best practices and ideas from across industries gives him the flexibility to create optimal solutions that are both proven and innovative. His experience with early and mid-stage companies spans start-ups to initial public offerings to the public sector and industries that include healthcare, municipal government, real estate, travel, sports data, and retail operations. While this broad experience enables him to address challenges in any sector, he has particular expertise in the healthcare space, especially around payer systems, medical records, and integrations.

Applying extensive experience in the Microsoft development stack, including .Net technologies, SQL Server, WebAPI, and RESTFul service architecture, among others, Gary is able to architect solutions for long-term scalability and stability and to identify and remediate development issues. He also is an expert in data analysis and data architecture and has extensive mobile development experience.

Gary joined West Monroe Partners in 2017 after selling Pongworks Consulting, a technology consulting firm specializing in healthcare solutions, revenue cycle management, electronic medical records, and payer analytics for which he was the chief executive officer for nine years. Prior to starting Pongworks Consulting (formerly Adalyze Technologies), Gary was chief technology officer for Yield Technologies, a management consulting firm specializing in real estate technologies.

Gary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago.
