WHAT I DO: I am a professional who speaks at association conferences, chapter meetings, and business events.

WHO I WORK WITH: I collaborate with board members and conference planners to strategize and refine talks that fit your audience's needs about leadership, high-performing teams, psychological safety, and strategic HR.

WHY IT WORKS: When you partner with me, you win with a powerful experience for your audience. I take your invitation and trust in your members seriously. I use an audience-centered design to determine how I can help them benefit from their experience with me.

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: At heart, I am a performance consultant who learned to ask questions. Years ago, I learned from the late Jason Jennings how to situate keynote content for your audience so that attendees experience a meaningful, positive, memorable, and actionable talk!

WHAT OTHERS SAY:

"Gary did a webinar for our firm about psychological safety in the workplace, and it was spot-on. Really well done., and he tailored it to our company's vision and values and brought home messages that our DEI Council has been working to disseminate this year."
▶ Ashley Webster, Pinnacle Financial Partners

"Gary was an outstanding speaker for our virtual event series, Leadership Talks...He struck the perfect balance between providing educational background information and inspiring action. Furthermore, his preparation for the speech was highly professional and included a detailed follow-up handout. I highly recommend Gary as a speaker for any event.
▶ Joscha Hofmann, 4flow management GmbH

"Gary was a super presenter for a workshop on "Getting To Delight" in membership association leadership...Survey respondents gave Gary top marks in three critical areas: understanding of the topics presented, motivation to implement some of his suggestions, and tools to overcome obstacles to implementation."
▶ Mark Bowers, Professional Development Consortium of Hampton Roads (PDCHR)

HOW IT WORKS: I follow a three-step audience-centered design:
✔ Step 1: We work together to answer three questions: After the event, what will attendees (1) do differently in their work setting; (2) what will they say (key messages); (3) what emotions will they carry throughout the day?
✔ Step 2: Interview members who will be at the event to discover their unique challenges and needs.
✔ Step 3: After drafting the design, we validate that the design is what your audience needs.
