The Microsoft AI platform is rapidly expanding to allow for the creation of sophisticated conversational AI experiences which can be pushed to a growing list of channels and platforms, including Web chat, Alexa, Google Assistant, Microsoft Teams, WeChat and many more. In this session you will get an overview of the range options for building these experiences, including demos of the new visual designer - Composer - with its integrated experience for language understanding and recent innovations for modelling more natural conversations such as the new Adaptive Dialogs and Language Generation features.

Building Alexa Skills and Google Actions using Microsoft Bot Framework

Microsoft's Bot Framework is an incredible platform which allows you to make a bot available on a number of out of the bot channels, like Facebook, Skype, Slack and Webchat. However, the big home assistant platforms are missing from the list - in this session we will discover how new capabilities in the platform can be leveraged for building Alexa Skills and Google Actions for Google Home devices and Google assistant! You will find out how to support some of the advanced platform features for Alexa and Google, including supporting devices with screens, push notifications and reminders. By the end of the session you will have the knowledge needed to go and build your own fantastic bots that can also be made available through the popular smart assistants!
