L'identità digitale italiana cambia pelle: OpenID connect, Self Sovereign Identity e Wallet
L’Italia sta rivoluzionando le identità digitali.
SPID e CieID (basato sulla Carta di Identità Elettronica) passano dal protocollo SAML2, al più moderno protocollo OpenID Connect (OIDC) che fornisce maggiore flessibilità, facilità di implementazione e ampia adozione.
Il profilo OIDC italiano è basato su OpenID iGov e Federation. Quest'ultimo, recentissimo, definisce un modello di federazione gerarchica, sicura e scalabile di cui l'Italia è un entusiasta early adopter.
Su OAuth/OpenID e sul paradigma Self Sovereign Identity viene definito il Wallet Europeo di Identità Digitale (EUDI Wallet).
