My journey has been largely around technology, digital skills, education and using technology to solve practical problems.
Through Soteria Technologies, I have had the opportunity to work on initiatives around digital literacy, education technology, ICT infrastructure, Internet governance and community digital access.
But one thing I have learned is that having a good technology solution is only one part of the journey.
You also have to understand the people you are serving, build relationships, manage resources, find sustainable ways to operate, build partnerships and create systems that allow the work to continue.
That is why I chose this topic.
I want us to look beyond the excitement of building the product and talk about what it really takes to turn that product into a functioning and sustainable organization.
