I currently work as a Data Platform Engineer at Trendyol, part of the Self-Serve Data Platform team. Our core responsibility is designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable and efficient data mesh infrastructure that supports both real-time and batch feature processing. My expertise spans Kafka/Kafka Connect, Apache Airflow, Apache Flink, Kubernetes, and the development of scalable data processing pipelines. With 6 years of experience in data engineering and an MSc in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, I am driven by a passion for staying ahead of technological trends and continuously exploring innovative approaches to building resilient, high-performance infrastructures.
