Grace Ying (she/her) is a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Social Research and Cultural Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. She received an M.F.A degree in Performing Arts from National Taiwan Normal University. Her research interests focus on Taiwanese American networks, media ecology, transnational communication, and Taiwanese Americans’ alternative media in the 1970s to 1980s. Besides academic research, she is a Taiwanese scriptwriter and curator.
