Guido Di Carlo (35 years, Argentina) is a translator, localization manager, co-founder and director of LocQuest with more than 15 years of experience in the Localization industry.
Starting at the early age of 20, he occupied several positions in translation/localization management until he decided to start his own freelance career as a translator specializing in video games. After 9 years translating content for the Latin American market, and worried about the direction the Localization industry was heading at, he co-founded LocQuest along with Aurélie Perrin.
At LocQuest, we strive to provide high quality, human-powered translation at fair prices while creating amazing conditions for all of our collaborators. Our ultimate goal: A localization scene in which developers and publishers get a great product, everyone gets properly compensated and credited for their work, and players all around the world get to enjoy games in their own languages with the same attention to detail as the original.
