Straight out of university, where Guido studied Banking and Finance, he quickly became a believer in technology and the value of data. As businesses now have the necessity to digitalize their processes and services, he immediately realized that data and technology are the best way to understand businesses in all their aspects. Having a finance background has always enabled Guido to look at technology with a different perspective as he is strongly convinced that the smaller the gap between IT and Business is, the bigger the value of the solutions will be.
In the different roles Guido had: Armani, The Student Hotel, Fugro, Macaw and KPMG, he learned how to design and build fit for purpose Data Analytics platforms using Microsoft Technology. He also learned how to build a team and coach its members in order to optimize their development process. This was all possible also thanks to the business acumen he has matured. Grasping how an organization works allows him to speak and influence business stakeholders while guiding them in understanding how to make the most of their data and the value it has.
