Born in Madrid around 30 years ago, Guillermo studied Electronics and Automation Engineering, only to discover after a couple of years at work that what really drives him is working with people. He started as a Software Developer, discovered the Agile world, and quickly became a fan of it — transitioning into a Scrum Master role and learning a lot about agile working and collaboration, always with an eye on increasing productivity and improving the relationships between developers.
These days, Guillermo has traded sprint boards for a new obsession: figuring out what actually makes developers' lives better. At PAYBACK GmbH, he digs into surveys, metrics, and honest conversations to find out where the friction really is — then goes after it by making Developer Experience a real priority, not an afterthought. He's convinced that happy, productive developers are the secret sauce for a successful organization.
