Tomas is a developer with more than 20 years of experience in the Microsoft .NET space. He enjoys learning new programming languages, regular expressions, skiing and beer.
He has a particular weakness for weird programming languages and occasionally explores ways of writing code that involve more than just a keyboard, sometimes even the rest of his body.

There is nothing new in AI
In 1926, an American engineer built a robot that could answer phone calls and execute commands remotely. In 2026, OpenClaw does the same thing, just from a chat app.
Generative AI feels revolutionary. But the core ideas behind today's tools are decades old, sometimes a century old. In this talk, I'll look at 100 years of AI and robotics history to show that many of today's breakthroughs are simply old ideas that finally became practical.
The ideas behind ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Sora are not new. They're just finally possible.
So what actually changed? This session isn't about hype. It's about perspective. Because once you see the pattern, today's AI stops looking like magic and starts looking like history repeating itself.
When AI writes the code, what do we do?
We live in a time where we can write code without understanding it. AI makes us faster, more productive, and less tired.
But what if programming isn’t just about efficiency?
What if it’s also about resistance?
Maybe the developer of the future doesn’t need to write more code. Maybe we need to play with it more.
I’ll show you examples of code written in some very different languages.
One language probably belongs on a wall. One you can’t even see. One should be performed at full volume. And the last one you absolutely cannot sit still while writing it.
This is part performance, part talk. Part humour, part serious.
