Gwendoline has a bachelor's in animal biology and ecology from Paris XI University (France). She graduated from a Master in animal and human behavior (Rennes I University, France).
She began to work in farm animal welfare during this Master. She worked on aggressiveness in young sows (French Institute of Agronomy Research, INRAE) and the mother-young relationship in dairy cows (Aarhus University, Denmark).
She is now a PhD. candidate in animal sciences at University Laval (Quebec city, Canada). She works on emotional welfare in piglets.
